The 6th National Corvette Caravan is slated for August 28-31, 2019. Corvettes from around the country will converge on Bowling Green Kentucky. If you want to learn more go to www.corvettecaravan.com

Wanted to forward information on this years Corvette Caravan. It was mentioned in this months meeting that there were no rooms available, there actually are rooms still available along the entire route. 

I have also included the latest information from Ken Thomas ( Pacific North West Caravan Captain) detailing the event 

Caravan status:

• We have 217 cars registered with about 13 dropping out for personal reasons.  My hope is that we get at least 250 cars so if you are now holding/attending your club meetings, please spread the word.
• I still have rooms available in all locations on the stop including rooms in Bowling Green.  I will have to give back rooms beginning in the end of May so if you haven’t booked your room or know others that have not signed up, let them know.
• I have several pieces of merchandise for sale (flags, clings, shirts, banners, raffle tickets).  For those items or to sponsor the caravan, please visit the PNW Caravan page @ https://2019pnwcaravan.com/.  Items are selling so thank you for those of you that have purchased items.  Remember, all proceeds benefit the NCM.
• I have ordered a tile on behalf of the PNW Caravan.  Once I am notified of the location, I will let everyone know.
• Route status:
  • Route book is in work and will outline details by day.  Once it is complete, I will send it to the participants so you can add it to your tablet or print a copy to take on the route.  Not creating a bound route book is saving the caravan hundreds of dollars.  Thank you for your understanding.
  • I am testing a couple of apps for us to use to communicate on the route.  This will eliminate the need for CB radios, etc.  If your club has radios, please plan to bring them but I will share information via the app.
  • We are still on plan for lunch in Richland the first day.  Caravans will be departing Issaquah and Sandy at predetermined times.
  • We are working with the Chamber of Commerce for Livingston, MT to host an evening event.  I don’t want to be a spoiler so I will leave it at that.
  • I have worked with a focal from the Black Hills classic.  He has given me the best route through the Badlands.  For those of you wanting to take this route (in lieu of I-90), I am sure you will be pleased.
  • We are finalizing the evening at Sioux Falls with the local corvette club.  We will have dinner, door prizes (small ones like gift cards), and a no host bar.  Bring your cash and support the Sioux Falls Corvette club!
  • Wisconsin Dells is going to be fun.  We have an open track event close to the hotel and will have time to run some laps if you so choose.  As well, there will be at last count 350-400 cars departing the next morning!
